Mantis
Elastic & Tektro's collaboration was inspired by an unexpected visitor: a praying mantis that remained in the exact same spot in one of the artists' studio window for an unusually long time. Its strange, almost hypnotic presence sparked the idea for the track, leading to a vocal centered around the mantis itself.
From there, the concept evolved into a playful sonic world inspired by insects, blending quirky textures, organic movement, and unconventional sound design into a unique electronic journey. The result is a track that transforms an everyday moment into an imaginative, bug-infused experience.
