Test Your Mind
'Test Your Mind' started with a voice note. A friend and neighbor of mine, Hezi, who isn't a musician, had been asking me for a long time to sit down and make music together. When I told him I was leaving the building, we finally did. He played me a recording of himself humming a melody, and I translated what I heard into notes. "That's not exactly what I heard," he said - and that difference became the idea. Instead of choosing between his melody and my interpretation, we kept both, turning two versions of the same thought into a call and response. Somewhere along the way, a certain laugh found its way into the track and sparked the idea for the name. A small twist on something familiar - shifting the challenge from physical strength to the mind. A track born from two people hearing the same idea differently, and realizing that the difference was the most interesting part.
